Kindelpitiya further remanded

Former Sirasa News Director Sisi Kindelpitiya who was arrested before Parliamentary elections after they found a weapon in his vehicle was further remanded until June 17 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Kumari Abeyratna today.

The Government Analyst department submitted a report about the weapon. They said it was not an automatic weapon. 

Mr. Kindelpitiya was a UNP candidate from the Colombo district.
