Navy rescues 12 Indonesian, one Thai fishermen

Thirteen foreign fishermen including 12 Indonesians and one Thai ,who were stranded in Sri Lankan waters of Sangaman Hill in Ampara were rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy on Monday night.



They arrived at the Galle Navy camp this morning and were given necessary medical treatment, Navy spokesman Capt.Atula Senarath said.

Measures have been taken to hand them over to the relevant embassies in Colombo, he added.

if not for our brave and concerned boys out there in the navy these guys would be by now .........(guess).....I am proud of our guys
