Sarath Fonseka’s stars and medals would be snatched

Reports states, if Sarath Fonseka’s accusations are proved at the Military courts, he would loose all the stars, medals and awards. Further if such accusations are proved against him, he would be disgraced by the military and would be rejected by the military.

On this basis, the “Rana Wickrama medal”, “Rana Soora Medal”, “Visitta Seva Vipushanaya” medals will be taken off from him. He also cannot use the “Royal tile” and “PST” tiles for security purposes. The court inquiries against Sarath Fonseka begins tomorrow, but Sarath Fonseka will not attend the sessions was mentioned by JVP Parliament Group leader Anurakumara Tissanayake. Instead of Sarath Fonseka’s presence, his Counselor would be present at the military courts is much expected. 

Sarath Fonseka’s absence will not be a obstruction to the inquiries. A Military General will take Sarath Fonseka to the court, and if he refuses, in regard to this, a petition would be filed and inquiries would commence was stated. In the meantime arrangements are made to fix an amplifier at the room where Sarath Fonseka is detained to pay attention to the court proceedings.
